Prior to joining Navigator, Sarah worked in London, UK as a graduate consultant for the International Labour Organization while completing her master's degree. Sarah additionally spent time as an Urban Land Development intern in Rotterdam, The Netherlands where she assisted with research and program development at the International Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies.

Originally from Calgary, AB, Sarah has experience in the non-profit sector through her work at the Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association where she designed and implemented programs for migrant and refugee women.

Sarah holds a Master of Science with distinction in Development Management and Anthropology from the London School of Economics (LSE) in London, UK. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University with first-class honours and specialization in Social Anthropology. In recognition of her research on gender and migration, Sarah received the 2019 Lucy Mair Prize for Social Anthropology from LSE and the 2017 Canadian Anthropological Society’s Outstanding Graduating Honours Student award.
