Based in Toronto, John Gardiner brings a fresh perspective to communicating on social and mainstream media. As an Associate Consultant, John supports clients in developing and executing their public affairs strategies and objectives.

John is a Project Manager at Navigator’s digital agency, and an Associate Consultant at Navigator with an interest in how online platforms can be leveraged to influence public opinion.  

John is a graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston where he received his Bachelor of Arts (honours) in Political Studies. In his final year at university, John tailored his education towards communication, public relations, and American politics. During his time at Queen’s, John worked in the Commission of Municipal Affairs at the Alma Mater Society of Queen’s University. John was responsible for overseeing a service focused on improving town gown relations between the City of Kingston and the Alma Mater Society. 

In addition to his work, John is also the editor of Navigator’s podcasts, Political Traction, Legalized and Banking on Blockchain, and the author of the weekly blockchain newsletter. 

John is an avid cyclist and has participated numerous times in the Ride to Conquer Cancer and the Northern Pass, benefiting the Princess Margert Cancer Centre in Toronto.
