Jamila Kanji is an intern at Navigator and has experience in strategic communications, health care and public policy.
Jamila Kanji is an intern at Navigator and has experience in strategic communications, health care and public policy. Prior to joining Navigator, Jamila worked as a communications intern in the non-profit sector for the Canada West Foundation, a bipartisan public policy think tank, and Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre.
In 2015, Jamila graduated from the University of Waterloo with a bachelor of science in honours health studies and subsequently worked within the University of Calgary’s stroke neurology and neuropsychiatry departments as a clinical research assistant. Currently, she is a fourth-year student pursuing a bachelor of communication with a concentration in public relations and a minor in innovation and entrepreneurship at Mount Royal University.
Jamila is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and has maintained her status on Mount Royal University’s President’s Honour Roll for the duration of her communications degree.
