About Stephen

Stephen Leonard rejoined Navigator in 2011 after previous experience on the team since 2007. His media and qualitative research abilities have developed through both academic and professional experience.

Prior to his return, Stephen served as a Corporal in the Canadian Army. He holds a Master of Arts degree in contemporary history from the University of Sussex in England and a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Guelph.

His academic studies included conducting research in Kosovo to explore the impact of Western intervention in the region, where he met with political leaders, journalists and former prisoners of war. His previous work at Navigator was as a social and mainstream issues researcher.
