Martha Durdin, Principal
Martha brings over 25 years’ experience in marketing, communications and government to her role as Principal at Navigator. She spent more than a dozen years at BMO Financial Group, as both Vice President of Corporate Affairs and as Head of Marketing and Communications for BMO’s billion-dollar global investment banking business.
She also has extensive knowledge of government in Ottawa and Queen’s Park, having worked in media relations in the Office of the Prime Minister under Pierre Trudeau and as Chief of Staff for two cabinet ministers.
Martha holds a Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario, a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors at the Rotman School of Management.
Martha is currently Chair of the Ontario Arts Council, a Director of the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund and the Council for Business and the Arts in Canada. Martha also sits on the Board of Runneymede Healthcare Centre.
